How about making a collection of local history and local stories as told by longstanding older members of the Borgue area community? This could be done as oral recordings which could also be transcribed.
These stories are often fascinating and may otherwise eventually be lost.

Hi Cate,
I am currently interviewing locals as part of my research into buildings in Borgue. I did similar intervews with a D&G Ethnology project carriied out by Edinburgh University. These interviws now sit on the project website so that future generations can listen to them. Although the project is now finished, I understand they will consider mounting any new interviews that relate to their work. I intend to do this with my onw interviews, perhaps it is something you could consider ? Their website is excellent, and I can give you more details if you are interested
Best wishes
Donald Tait
